今日は大潮でした。
干潮時には、浦島神社へ向かって砂道が現れますが、満潮時は満ちて来た海水が高さを増し、このような景色となります。
大潮とは、干満の差が大きい潮汐を言います。
大潮の日は、月と太陽が直線上に重なり、起潮力の方向が重なるため、満潮と干潮の潮位差が大きくなります。
今日は大潮のため満潮がいつもより高くなり
干潮時の水の引きももより低くなり、エンジェルロードがより長い時間現れました。
浦島伝説のお話をしつつ、浦島神社のギリギリまで迫る波面をお客様と一緒に眺める時間は、私たちにとってもこの土地に想いを馳せる大切な時間です。

On a spring tide day, the moon and the sun are in a straight line, and the directions of the tidal forces are the same, so the difference in tide levels between high and low tide is large.
Today was a spring tide, so high tide was higher than usual, and the water's ebb was lower than at low tide.
By interpreting the calendar of time marked by this earth's energy, it might be a good idea to take a trip to watch the moonlight reflected on the sea's surface during the long autumn nights.
